Max. recommended area
i
The max. recommended area is the max. lawn size a lawn mower can operate on given certain conditions, such as gentle slopes, even surfaces and linear shapes.
It is possible to select more filters at the same time. *The data may differ from what is indicated by the manufacturer. We generally provide a lower and more conservative figure than in the official catalogues, in order to better help the customer make the right choice, and to avoid the customers to purchase a model that doesn't suit their needs.

Cutting width

The Cutting width is the real cutting capacity of the blades in only one pass of the lawn mower. The data is generally proportional to the engine power and to the recommended cutting surface data. Therefore, for a large-sized lawn, we suggest a large cutting width, and vice versa. More filters together can be selected.
Self-propelling
i
Generally we recommend a self-propelled lawn mower starting from 500-600 square meters of garden upwards. It generally has a medium speed therefore it is useful on ... straight lines and not too full of obstacles (trees, bushes, flower beds, pots, etc.).
The front and the rear wheel drive (much more common) are basically equivalent. However, the rear wheel drive is more efficient on slopes. Someone prefers the front wheel drive since for small maneuvres and steering it can be disengaged by simply lifting the front wheels and pulling the lever on the handlebar downwards.
The speed changer enables to have a big variety of speeds that can be selected depending on the height of the grass (lower or taller), or on the bigger or lower presence of obstacles to bypass (at a lower speed).
The transmission with gears is more professional with respect to the speed changer and is to be found in models of higher level.
The four-wheels drive is very appreciated especially on slopes.

All other brands on market are engines that, although of good quality, they come from Eastern manufacturing companies and get the brand of the several European importers. This is why you can find them in the section calles "other brands".

Total amperes

Amperes: expressed in Ah (Ampere/hour), is the unit of measurement of electrical charge. It represents the amount of charge required to supply the current of one ampere for one hour. It is directly proportional to the capacity of the machine. The more Ah the battery has, the greater the range of the machine. Total amperes indicates the sum of the amperes of all the batteries.
