Cutting width

The Cutting Width is the effective cutting capacity of the blades in a single pass of the ride on mower. The figure is generally proportional to the engine power and the figure of the recommended cutting surface.
Therefore, for a large-sized lawn, we recommend to use a large cutting width, and vice versa.

Cubic capacity

The Displacement broadly represents the engine dimension. Therefore it indicates the power expresses in HP.
We can classify them as follows:
Small displacement: under 350 cc
Medium displacement: from 350 to 500 cc
Big displacement: more than 500 cc
Especially for the reknowned brands, a high displacement can correspond to a high level of reliability and engine duration.

Nominal power

The Rated Output (or Commercial Output) is a merely approximate figure that indicates the power that is commercially attributed to the ride on mower.
The Effective Output, less than the Rated one, is the one measured at the crankshaft at the rotation speed indicated by the producer. The Effective Power of the crankshaft is to be found within the description of each product.

Battery Amperes

Amperes: expressed in Ah (Ampere/hour), is the unit of measurement of electrical charge. It represents the amount of charge required to deliver the current of one ampere for one hour. It is directly proportional to the range of the car with a single battery. The more Ah the battery has, the more range the car will have

The Number of Blades indicates how many blades the cutting deck is made of.
There are three types:
- Single-blade cutting deck (1 blade - from 60 to 80 cm): equips the smallest and cheapest ride on mowers;
- Dual-blade cutting deck (2 blades - from 40 to 60 cm each): equips medium and small-sized ride on mowers;
- Three-blade cutting deck (3 blades - from 35 to 50 cm each): biggest ride on mowers for large dimensions.

Zero Radius: manoeuvrable using special levers. For more precise movements and 360° manoeuvres

Front cutting: position of the front plate in front of the wheels, for trimming and manoeuvrability
Gear shifting system

You can filter according to the type of tractor gearbox:
- Mechanical with gears: this is the classic gearbox that allows you to select a different gear from time to time by means of a manual lever
- Automatic - Powerdrive - Transmatic: this is a gear transmission, similar to the previous one, with continuous speed variation obtained through belts and pulleys. It allows immediate speed variation by simply acting on the pedal
- Hydrostatic: this is the most modern, reliable and robust gearbox, modulating directly with the pressure of the foot on the pedal. It is a hydraulic system that ensures maximum versatility of use and extremely high reliability over time
- Hydrostatic 4WD: traction is distributed to the 4 wheels according to ground conditions. It greatly increases the control and manoeuvrability of the machine even on slopes
